Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer multiple financing options for heating and cooling systems, including access to Mass Save® 0% HEAT Loans up to $25,000. Terms vary by project and equipment. We’ll walk you through the options during your consultation.
How long do water heaters typically last?
Tank water heaters typically last 8–12 years. Tankless units can last 20–25 years with proper maintenance. If your water heater is approaching 10 years old or showing signs of wear, we recommend scheduling an evaluation.
Should I replace my water heater before it fails?
If your water heater is approaching 10 years old or showing signs like rusty water, rumbling noises, or moisture around the base, proactive replacement avoids emergency failures and potential water damage to your home.
Do you size heat pumps using Manual J?
Yes. All of our heat pump installations are sized using Manual J load calculations, which account for your home’s insulation, window area, orientation, and other factors. Proper sizing is essential for year-round performance and comfort, and it’s required to qualify for the Mass Save® sizing bonus.
Can a heat pump heat my home in winter?
Absolutely. The Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat systems we install are designed specifically for cold climates like New England. They deliver 100% of their rated heating capacity at temperatures as low as 5°F and continue operating down to -13°F. The newest H2i Plus models provide usable heat at -22°F. Most of our customers heat comfortably through the entire Massachusetts winter with their heat pumps.
Do you help with rebate paperwork?
Yes. We assist with Mass Save® rebates, federal tax credit documentation, and manufacturer rebates. We also offer instant rebates on qualifying Mass Save installations, so you see the savings immediately rather than waiting for a rebate check.
Do you service equipment you didn’t install?
Yes. We maintain and repair most major brands of mini-splits, boilers, furnaces, and AC systems, regardless of who installed them.
How often should HVAC equipment be serviced?
We recommend annual maintenance for heating equipment (ideally before heating season) and annual maintenance for cooling equipment (before cooling season). For mini-split systems, filter cleaning should be performed more frequently—typically every 4–6 weeks during heavy use.
Do you offer maintenance plans?
